100 Meter Dash
Tyler Consolidated's Jocelyn Foltz used a great start to gap the field and maintained
the lead throughout in taking the win in 13.13. Williamstown's Brookelyn Reynolds edged
out Magnolia's Jaci Rohde for 2nd, 13.27 to 13.32. East Hardy's Holly Snyder was
the last one in under 13.50 with a 13.48. Wahama's Lacey Neal was 5th in 13.64, and Calhoun's
Savannah Cunningham was 6th in 13.70.

200 Meter Dash
St. Marys' Erica Davis closed strong to pull away for the convincing win as the only
runner to crack 27 seconds with her 26.91. Williamstown grabbed the next two spots with Brookelyn Reynolds
and Camryn Irvin going 27.38 and 27.42, respectively. The race for 2nd was very close as only 0.09
separated 2nd from 5th. Trinity's Sofia Pancoast and St. Marys' Bralynn Davis matched times in 4th and 5th at
27.47. Williamstown's Ella McMullen was 6th in 27.92.

400 Meter Dash
Williamstown's Ella McMullen scored the win by almost a full second and was the only runner
to get in under 60 seconds with her 59.67. St. Marys' Erica Davis edged Williamstown's Camryn
Irvin and Trinity's Sofia Pancoast for 2nd with just 0.04 separating the three: 1:00.44,
1:00.46, and 1:00.48, respectively. Williamstown's Brookelyn Reynolds was 5th in 1:01.59 with
Charleston Catholic's Audrey Miller taking the final spot in 1:02.17.

800 Meter Run
Williamstown's Ella Hesson controlled the race and was never threatened in taking the win by over
2.5 seconds in 2:26.66. Doddridge's Lexi Lamb was the only other runner under 2:30 with her
2:29.30. Charleston Catholic's Lindsay Carr held off the late surge of South Harrison's Madison
Stonestreet to take 3rd in 2:31.15. Stonestreet was 4th in 2:32.33. Wood County Christian's Lacey
Dimit maintained the 5th spot in 2:34.25, and Madonna's Kristina Lesho moved into the 6th spot late
in 2:37.94.

1600 Meter Run
Doddridge's Lexi Lamb and Williamstown's Ella Hesson pretty quickly separated themselves
from the field, going out in 1:13. Madonna's Kristina Lesho was in 3rd at 1:15 with Williamstown's
Brianna Winsett in 4th at 1:16. St. Marys' Virginia Haddox was in 5th at 1:17 with
Wood County Christian's Lacey Dimit in 6th at 1:18. Lap two saw Lamb and Hesson stretch their
lead over the field as Hesson shadowed Lamb closely with both coming through at 2:36. Lesho remained in
3rd at 2:39. Winsett remained in 4th at 2:44. South Harrison's Madison Stonestreet had moved
into 5th at 2:46, with Haddox and Charleston Catholic's Aubrie Custer side-by-side battling for 6th
also at 2:46. Lap 3 saw Lamb and Hesson continuing to stretch away from the field with Hesson continuing
to shadow Lamb with both passing at 4:01. Lesho remained in 3rd at 4:10. Stonestreet had moved into 4th
at 4:13. Haddox was in 5th at 4:16 with Winsett in 6th at 4:18. On the final lap, Hesson made the pass on
Lamb with 300 meters to go. At 250 Lamb started to respond. She pulled even at about 150 to go. Hesson
pulled back way at 120 to go and held a slim margin the rest of the way in with Hesson taking the win in
5:16.11 and Lamb getting 2nd in 5:16.80. Lesho held the 3rd spot at 5:34.32. Stonestreet held the 4th
spot at 5:36.44. Haddox kept 5th at 5:41.60. Winsett just squeezed back past Custer about 2 meters before
the finish line for 6th in 5:49.07 (to 5:49.33). Dimit was the only other one under 6:00.

3200 Meter Run
Doddridge's Lexi Lamb, Williamstown's Ella Hesson, and South Harrison's Madison
Stonestreet toured the 1st lap in 1:14 and held the top 3 spots. Charleston Catholic's
Aubrie Custer was in 4th at 1:16 with Williamstown's Brianna Winsett matching that
time in 5th. St. Marys' Virginia Haddox was in the 6th spot. After 2 laps, it was Lamb
and Hesson at 2:40 in the front two spots. Stonestreet was 3rd at 2:422. Custer was in 4th at
2:47 with Winsett again matching that time in 5th. Tucker's Erin Chambers had moved into the
6th spot at 2:55. On lap 3, Lamb and Hesson opened a huge gap on the rest of the field with both
coming through in 4:09. Stonestreet was still in 3rd at 4:19. Custer and Winsett remained in 4th
and 5th at 4:23. I believe Haddox was back up to 6th at 4:29. At the half-way point, it remained
Lamb and Hesson with both coming through in 5:42. Stonestreet contintued to hold 3rd at 6:00, but
Custer and Winsett had caught up, with both passing at 6:01. Haddox was in 6th at 6:07. On lap 5,
Lamb and Hesson continued to gap the field with both coming through at 7:18. Winsett had moved
into 3rd at 7:39 with Custer matching that time in 4th. Haddox had also made the pass to move into
5th in 7:41. Stonestreet, clearly feeling the effects of having ran the 400 Meter Dash only about
30 minutes before this race, was in 6th at 7:42. On lap 6, Lamb and Hesson came through at 8:56.
Haddox was in 3rd at 9:17 with Winsett and Custer matching that time in 4th and 5th. I think
Stonestreet was still in 6th. On lap 7, Hesson made the pass to move into the lead and establish
a small gap on Lamb with Hesson crossing in 10:31 and Lamb at 10:33. Haddox was in 3rd at 10:56
with Winsett in 4th at 10:57 and Custer in 5th at 10:58. I think Stonestreet still held 6th at 11:06.
On the final lap, Hesson stretched her lead and cruised home to the win in 11:52.65. Lamb was an
easy 2nd at 12:00.33. Haddox had to make a late pass on Custer for 3rd as 12:22.29 to Custer's
12:22.62. Winsett was 5th in 12:24.93. Trinity's Jenna Barnett moved into 6th for the
final spot in 12:32.07.

100 Meter High Hurdles
Ritchie's Olivia Cress just got by Parkersburg Catholic's Aalyiah Brunny for the win
with both going under 16 seconds. Cress scored a 15.73 and Brunny a 15.80. Doddridge's Abby
McDonough edged Union's Bridgitte Knapp for 3rd with both squeezing in under 17 seconds
with McDonough at 16.92 and Knapp at 16.99. Ritchie's Marissa Scott was 5th in 17.56 with
Paden City's Hallie McDonald 6th in 17.63.

300 Meter Low Hurdles
Ritchie's Olivia Cress edged away late for the win over Parkersburg Catholic's Aaliyah
Brunny, 46.31 to 46.73. Doddridge's Abby McDonough was right with them before clipping
the 3rd from last hurdle. She recovered for an easy 3rd in 47.41. Charleston Catholic's Audrey
Miller at 48.71 and South Harrison's Ember Smith at 48.96 were under 49 seconds in 4th and 5th, respectively.
East Hardy's Sierra Marie Miller took the final spot at 50.26.

4x100 Meter Relay
The Williamstown squad of Camryn Irvin, Emma Berman, Jalie Henthorne, and Ella McMullen decimated
the field by over 1.7 seconds in taking the win in 52.41. Magnolia edged Petersburg for 2nd in 54.13 and
54.37, respectively. Tyler Consolidated nipped Charleston Catholic and Pocahontas for 4th with the three
being separated by just 0.04 with Tyler Consolidated at 54.80, Charleston Catholic at 54.82, and Pocahontas
at 54.84, scoring from the 1st heat.

4x200 Meter Relay
Williamstown's foursome of Camryn Irvin, Jalie Henthorne, Tori Combs, and Emma Berman again bullied
the field, taking the win by over 4 seconds. Doddridge made a late pass for 2nd in 1:53.68, getting by
Charleston Catholic, who went 1:54.07. Magnolia was 4th in 1:55.03. Ritchie moved up to 5th late in 1:55.80.
South Harrison was 6th in 1:55.86.

4x400 Meter Relay
Williamstown's unit of Emma Berman, Tori Combs, Brookelyn Reynolds, and Ella McMullen stretched
away over the final two legs to take the win by 12 seconds. St. Marys led early and held on for 2nd
in 4:24.87. Charleston Catholic was 3rd in 4:28.91. Madonna was 4th in 4:30.91. Ritchie nipped
Trinity for 5th, 4:33.72 to 4:34.03.

4x800 Meter Relay
St. Marys led after the first leg with Williamstown in 2nd, 2:30 and 2:31. Madonna was in 3rd at 2:36
with Ritchie in 4th at 2:38. I think Charleston Catholic was in 5th at 2:41 and Tucker in 6th at 2:42.
Williamstown took the lead on the 2nd leg and came through in 5:06. St. Marys was 2nd in 5:08. Ritchie was
up to 3rd in 5:22. Madonna was in 4th at 5:24. Charleston Catholic was in 5th at 5:25 with Tucker in
6th at 5:26. Williamstown continued to lead through the 3rd leg, coming through in 7:48. St. Marys remained
in 2nd at 7:51. Madonna had pulled away in 3rd at 8:01. I believe that Charleston Catholic had moved into
4th at 8:12 with Ritchie in 5th at 8:15. I think Tucker was still in 6th. On the final leg, Williamstown
pulled away to give the squad of Tori Combs, Reagan Ortiz, Brianna Winsett, and Ella Hesson the
comfortable win in 10:24. St. Marys easily held the 2nd spot in 10:27.55. Madonna held the 3rd spot in
10:36.98. Charleston Catholic kept the 4th spot in 10:42.03. Doddridge moved up to 5th in 10:48.75, and
Tucker got by Ritchie late for the 6th spot in 10:56.47.

Shuttle Hurdle Relay
Tygarts Valley's group of Joie Bell, Alyvia George, Rommie Shumate, and Landrie Lanham scored the
narrow win over Petersburg, 1:11.37 to 1:11.64. Doddridge scored 3rd from the 3rd heat in 1:12.65,
just faster than South Harrison's 1:12.98. East Hardy was a close 5th in 1:13.30. Magnolia took the final
spot in 1:16.42. One of my predicted placers got hit with the dreaded DQ.

High Jump
Ritchie's Olivia Cress scored the win by jumping clean through 5'2. Union's Bridgette Knapp
also cleared 5'2, but missed once before clearing it. There was a 3-way tie for 3rd between Buffalo's
Chloe Hale, Webster's Holly Perrine and Wahama's Abbie Lieving at 4'10. Petersburg's
Destiny Helmick also cleared 4'10 in taking 6th.

Pole Vault
Doddridge's Abby McDonough was the only vaulter to clear 9'6. Williamstown's emma Berman was
the only other vaulter to clear 9'0. Doddridge's Nora Sias and Williamstown's Madelyn Anderson
each cleared 8'0 in getting the tie for 3rd. Clay-Battelle's Ashley Chisler was the only other vaulter
to clear a height, getting 7'6 and 5th. The opening height was supposed to be 7'0, but they changed it to 7'6
because of the possibility of bad weather. So once again, we only have 5 placers because of setting the opening
height too high.

Long Jump
Ritchie's Olivia Cress went 16'3.25 on her 3rd jump and was the only jumper to hit 16'. Wahama's
Abbie Lieving went 15'10.50 on her final jump to move into 2nd. Doddridge's Faith Galagar
was 3rd at 15'9.50. Paden City's Mallory Yeater was 4th at 15'8.75. Magnolia's Jaci Rohde
was 5th at 15'7.25 as only 3.25" separated 2nd from 5th. Tyler Consolidated's Jocelyn Foltz was
6th at 15'2.50.

Shot Put
Magnolia's Mady Winters sent one 41'7.25 to set a new Class A State Meet Record. This also
stands as the 3rd Best All-Time State Meet Performance and the 2nd Best All-Time Class A-AA State
Meet Performance. It also won the event by nearly 9 feet. South Harrison's Shellie Baughman was
2nd at 32'11.2, just ahead of Paden City's Hope Weber at 32'6.25. Only Wirt's Shelby Simonton
joined them at over 30' with a 30'5.25. Petersburg's Rhenn Hedrick was 5th at 29'8.75, and Williamstown's
Emme Stull was 6th with a 29'6.25.

Discus
Magnolia's Mady Winters sailed the discus 125'5 on her final throw to take the win by a whopping 25'. That also
stands as the 7th Best All-Time Class A-AA State Meet Performance. Buffalo's Lilly Wyant
was the only other thrower over 100' with her toss of 100'5. Only Paden City's Hope Weber and
Ritchie's Macy Hilvers topped 95' among the rest of the field with Weber throwing 97'10 and Hilvers 96'9.
Williamstown's Maggie Siley was 5th with a 94'10, and Ritchie's Larissa McDonald was 6th at 92'2.
